Although we had met Dale previously, it was on their pre wedding Shoot at Osmotherley that we realised how much he liked having his photograph taken. He was a natural! Stan met up with Dale and the guys as they were arriving at St. Andrew’s church Newton Aycliffe for a few informal photos before Dale met with the Vicar to discuss last minute details.
Dianne’s house was buzzing with activity, with six bridesmaids and two flower girls to see to, thank goodness for all her friends from Paul David Hairdressing who were on hand to help. Bridesmaid Gemma helped Dianne into her beautiful wedding gown which was supplied by Happily Ever After Bridal Boutique, and her shoes were gorgeous Christian Louboutins. As soon as Dianne was ready she was driven in style to the church by GW Holmes arriving almost on time.
The ceremony was a very traditional English Country Church wedding and including a reading from Dianne and Dales good friend Lois. The weather although beautiful and sunny was extremely windy when leaving the Church, so everyone got to their cars as quickly as possible and set off for the shelter of Middleton Lodges beautiful gardens. Once at the Middleton Lodge, the Bride and Groom and their guests were very well looked after as always by Alex and her team and were entertained by the lovely Val Boyers who sang while Magician Paul Lytton impressed guests with his magic skills. Following the drinks reception the guests were directed to the Marquee for the speeches and the wedding breakfast.
Entertainment for the evening included a photo booth supplied by the girls Boothalicious, which was a great hit with the guests. The evening disco was provide by Cool Blu and it was a very touching moment when Dianne chose to start the first dance with her Father before he handed her over to Dale. Dale and Dianne honeymooned in Thailand.
