If you have read our previous post Unveiled Magazine Photo Shoot in Paris you will understand the planning that goes into such a large scale photo shoot. The actual logistics of planning how to get there and booking are only the tip of the iceberg.
Firstly Paula from Poppy Bridal needed to choose and organise the Jenny Packham gowns and accessories that she felt would look particularly stunning on Selena in Paris, as well as making sure that everything was packed carefully in order for them to look equally stunning in Paris as in Poppy’s Bridal Studio. Editor Craig, worked closely with House of Fraser to arrange the male model Danny’s suit, which was by Skopes alongside the mens accessories required, adding a Daniel Wellington watch from Tic Watches as a finishing touch. Jo from Make-up by Jo, sourced makeup from Guerlain’s latest range, which was delivered directly to the Hotel, but is also available from House of Fraser stores. Hair was researched by James Reid of James Reid Hairdressing our Hair stylist for the trip, he wanted to go with a very natural look which is currently on trend with the Bridal Fashion houses at present.
The one element of the trip that we had absolutely no control over was the weather, we were prepared for December fog or the possibility of rain, what we hadn’t anticipated was the almost sub zero temperature! We left England having had a very mild Autumn, aware that the forecast was cloudy but not prepared for how cold we were going to feel and especially Selena, who was in very minimal floaty dresses. We really have to compliment her on how she manage to keep smiling, while we all did our best to keep her as warm as possibly with the loan of coats, gloves etc. in between sets.
I have to say that we did have an amazing experience and have loved looking back at the images, here are some from Unveiled and a few extras too.
