Following on from a glorious day for their pre wedding shoot in April, they were hopeful for another lovely summers day in July, unfortunately the forecast was a little less predictable for Beth & Grant’s Middleton Lodge Wedding but that didn’t make any difference to them and their family and friends having a wonderful day. Preparations started at Beth’s family home before being collected by GW Holmes for the short journey to Bishop Auckland Methodist Church for their wedding ceremony and then on to the beautiful Middleton Lodge for the wedding reception. The rain held off for a little while so that the guests could enjoy a little of the lovely grounds of Middleton Lodge, before then retreating into the reception rooms to enjoy their drinks reception. The speeches were very entertaining with extra speeches from Mike the father of the groom and Beth’s bridesmaid. The party moved into the evening with entertainment from seven piece band, JD and the Woodsman.
A tip from Beth and Grant of how to make the most of your wedding day would be, “Do not stress about anything on your actual wedding day, just enjoy as much of it as you can as it flies by, and if something doesn’t go as you had planned it too, then don’t get upset, stressed or angry as nobody else but you will even have noticed. Its how we enjoyed our day!
