Wedding Photography at Rockliffe Hall

Nina & Col always knew that Rockliffe Hall was the venue for them and it was lovely to see them at many of the Rockliffe Hall showcases where they chose from many of Rockliffe’s own recommended suppliers. So by the time we had photographed Nina & Col at Raby Castle for their pre wedding shoot (Very appropriate as they are now Mr and Mrs Raby!) and chatted to them both and their adorable little girl Josie at a few of the showcase days we felt like long lost friends. So we certainly were looking forward to sharing in  their wedding day.

They were both getting ready at Rockliffe Hall so as usual I joined the girls for their manic morning of preparations, although I have to say that the whole atmosphere when I arrived was very calm. Becci of Styled by Becci was styling hair, whilst Rockliffe Hall’s very own Spa Manager and Make up artist Victoria Lees was already busy with brushes in hand. Nina’s dress which was from wedding gown designer Justin Alexander supplied by Miranda Marie Bridal of Yarm and her gorgeous, to die for shoes were by Christian Louboutin.

Stan met the guys who were working on keeping Col calm, but everything seems under control and in order. Col, Dave, Gary and both fathers had opted for grey tails which were from Affleck and Moffat of Duke Street, Darlington.

The guys were on hand to greet guests arriving at The Old Hall before meeting with Anthony, Darlington Registry Office senior registrar, in the Orangerie prior to the ceremony. Once ready Rockliffe’s toastmaster Bernard escorted Nina, Father and the girls through the Hotel, they even managed a sneaky peak into the Orangerie from above to check everyone had arrived.

It was rather a breezy day so mainly the guests stayed inside, but this didn’t stopped them enjoying the drinks and canapés which were served in the beautiful surroundings of the arches in the Old Hall. Chatting and socialising continued over in The Rockliffe Suite where the newly weds and their guests were treated to a sumptuous meal served by Rockliffe’s Conference and Banqueting team. The Rockliffe Suite looked stunning, chair covers were by First Class Wedding Company, the stylish stationery was by Noble Fine Art and the stunning cake table was created by Bernadett of Dreamworld Cakes.

The evening festivities continued with music from The Funk Collective
