Christie and Andy are from Qatar, so their wedding was definitely planned from afar. Christie was very organised and sure of want she wanted and also what she didn’t want. Due to her and Andy being out of the country Christie enlisted the help of Donna Hartley-Redfearn whose company North East Wedding Planner to assist with arranging and coordinating their big day. Christie’s brief was that their wedding was to be very relaxed and fun and from start to finish this is definitely how the day flowed. Christie’s bouquet, the bridesmaids flowers and the button holes were all faux flowers from Stem Ginger and looked amazing, her beautiful dress was supplied by Christabel & Keats of Hartlepool.
The wedding ceremony took place at Embsay Church near Skipton, which is a typical old English country church, Christie & Andy took great care to become part of the Church family in the run up to their Big Day, so that this really was a special place for them to be married. The weather was perfect for a Wedding Day and the setting at Coniston Hall, which is located just outside Skipton in North Yorkshire, was amazing, the whole atmosphere in the gardens left everyone feeling thoroughly chilled.
The speeches were hilarious and entertaining followed by a quick turn around by the Hotel team, before Christie and Andy took the floor for their first dance.
