Jane joined met with Laura, who had a room full of Mum’s and bridesmaids. Victoria Lees, Rockliffe’s Spa & Beauty Manager was there to create Laura’s bridal look, as well as looking after the rest of the Bridal Party. Working alongside Victoria was Lesley from LA Hair, who styled hair for everyone, it’s a pleasure to have Lesley and Victoria creating as they always seem to know exactly what is required and make for a really relaxed atmosphere in the room.
The guys were much more low key about their getting ready when Stan joined them in their room at Rockliffe. They were just sorting their ties and buttonholes, suits were provided by Affleck & Moffat of Duke Street.
Meanwhile everything was coming together in Laura’s room, the girls helped her in to her gorgeous wedding gown from Exclusively Yours by Designer Ronald Joyce. The beautiful wedding bouquets, buttonholes and table arrangements were all supplied by Flowers by Nattrass.
The intimate Ceremony was performed by Darlington Registrars in Rockliffe Hall’s Morning Room, Brian & Laura’s Mums took part in a candle ceremony, while sisters Lesley and Samantha both read poems. After the drinks reception in the Old Arches and a few photos outside in the grounds, Master of Ceremonies Robert ushered all the guests over to the Rockliffe suite for the Speeches followed by the Wedding Breakfast. Both the Morning Room and the Rockliffe Suite were dressed by First Class Wedding Company and the the very elegant Menus and Table names were designed by Noble Fine Art
The evening entertainment started with the cutting of the amazing cake made by Burnett4Cakes followed by first dance which was Ed Sheeran’s “Thinking out Loud” played by Rockliffe’s DJ.
