Rockliffe Hall is the perfect wedding venue, this 18th Century Old Hall is set in 375 acres of stunning countryside, with beautifully furnished rooms and suites along with luxurious reception rooms for friends and family to relax and enjoy your wedding day. We never fail to be inspired by this understated luxury venue and Becci and Ian’s Wedding was no exception.
The original intention was to have a small and initimate affair, but this couple are so close to their family and friends they just had to share their wedding day with everyone. That atmosphere on the morning was very relaxed and chilled, helped by lots of lovely champagne! Preparations were made easier with Lesley of L.A. Hair and Makeup by Victoria from Rockliffe Hall. Becci looked amazing in her stunning lace dress from Miranda Marie Bridal Boutique of Yarm. Her bridal bouquet was made up of Cala Lilies and Orchids, while her gorgeous bridesmaid Kate carried a beautifully simple bouquet of Cala Lillies both designed by Adam Prest.
The Marriage ceremony which was very emotional took place in The Orangery followed by drinks reception in the Old Hall and on The Terrace.
Thanks to Best Man, Chris and Bernard Thain, Rockliffe Hall’s Master of Ceremonies everyone was looked after and kept in order, before processing over to The Rockliffe Suite for the Wedding Breakfast. The room looked beautiful thanks to Chair Covers by Simply Bows & Chair Covers and luxurious place cards, seating plan and menus from Noble Fine Art Stationery, completed with a topsy turvy cake from Dreamworld Cakes
The speeches were a privilege to document, they were loaded with tears and laughter a wedding photographers dream, creating a great reminder for Becci and Ian to look back at and share the jokes over again…. and there were lots! Thanks to Chris once more.
The day was completed with the usual evening festivities, a Hog Roast on the terrace and lots of partying.
A fabulous wedding day! We would just like to wish them both an wonderful future together.
