Brinkburn Priory in Northumberland and the estuary at Alnmouth had the potential to be a beautiful locations for a Summer Marquee wedding, and despite a decidedly unsettled week and a mixed forecast for the big day, Tim & Alex were certainly not disappointed; the sun shone all day until it set dramatically in the west at the end of a very perfect day.
This was the first occasion we had photographed a Wedding at The Priory and we loved the grandeur and atmosphere of the whole place. The Wedding guests were delivered from Alnmouth to the ceremony in a 1960s vintage bus, while Alex and her father were treated by one of her bridesmaids to being driven to the wedding in a cream vintage Rolls Royce convertible.
Alex followed the vintage theme and managed to source all genuine vintage items from her dress and veil right down to her jewellery and headpiece. Tim and the boys looked immaculate and composed in their tailcoats.
After a beautiful ceremony at Brinkburn Priory the wedding party were transported once again to the Marquee at Alnmouth in the vintage bus, where the guests enjoyed the drinks reception with the spectacular view over the estuary, followed by the wedding party.
