Middleton Lodge Wedding – North Yorkshire
Whatever the season Middleton Lodge ticks the box for a very relaxed wedding celebration, but Summer has to be the season where you can really appreciate all this Georgian Mansion has to offer. Matthew and Nadia’s friends and family were to travel from all over the country, so they both want to treat them to a very relaxed North Yorkshire Wedding.
On arrival at the lodge, Wedding and Events Manager Anna was already on hand to keep us up to speed with everything that was happening. The decorations in the marquee were well underway Wedding and Events floral design had put up huge pink and white paper lanterns and Jean and her team from Elise Flowers were outside working on the Pavilion for the outdoor civil ceremony. Jane found Alison and her team from Alison Martin Hair and Make up were extremely busy working their magic in the Bridal Suite while Anna and Stan headed over to The Coach House to see how the guys preparations were coming along.
The Bridal Suite was buzzing with five bridesmaids, two Mum’s and Nadia all getting themselves ready, while several of Nadia’s Aunties popped in just see how they were getting along, there was certainly lots of atmosphere. Jane had some great details to photographed with Nadia’s gorgeous dress from Vera Wang, shoes from Valentino and beautiful Neroli Portofino perfume by Tom Ford. Over at the Coach House the guys were doing fine, with a little assistance from Anna with buttonholes on to their very sharp Hugo Boss suits. Outside guests were enjoying the July sunshine and an early aperitif before the 2pm Ceremony.
Nadia looked stunning as she emerged from the Drawing Room on the arm of her very proud but emotional father. The ceremony performed by North Yorkshire registrars was beautiful, filled with lots of tears and laughter. and the guests were all ready with confetti to greet the couple as they walked down the aisle.
The drinks and canapés were well received by the guests as they soaked up the gorgeous July sunshine in their amazing surroundings. Once everyone had had time to catch up with old friends and chat to new acquaintances Anna and her team from Middleton Lodge guided the guests to the Marquee where they were shown to their seats before Nadia and Matthew were formally welcomed into the wedding Breakfast as the new Mr & Mrs Callaghan. The speeches were made prior to the wedding breakfast and again like the ceremony were very emotional though as you can see from the guest reactions there was lots of hilarity too!
After a comfort break when the guests had chance to chill and explore the House itself as well as the stunning grounds, everyone returned to the Marquee to commence the evening festivities with Music from London based Wedding Band, Bounce.
Matthew and Nadia also had their Pre wedding shoot in the grounds at Middleton Lodge.
