Headlam Hall Spring Wedding
Although Rachel and Mark chose April for their Wedding Day it could easily have been the middle of Summer. It really was the perfect day for their countryside setting wedding.
Rachel and Mark were so very chilled and relaxed about their wedding day. Rachel was so chilled that she even let Mark book the wedding venue before she had seen it. Her words to us were “If Mark likes Headlamp, it will be fine” So we knew from that day forward that she didn’t have a “Bridezilla” bone in her body. Having photographed some beautiful weddings at Headlam we did reassure her that she definitely had nothing to worry about.
Headlam has to be famous for its amazing grounds and beautiful setting, tucked away in the understated County Durham countryside. This stunning Georgian House is definitely a perfect wedding venue, the newly refurbished Coach house is an exclusive wedding venue with its arched glass ceiling, antique crystal chandeliers, gives you a really glamorous space for you to add your own special touches.
Mark and Rachel started the day with a very relaxed morning at Headlam. So relaxed Mark was still in his boxers when Stan arrived to capture the guys getting ready. He obviously took the getting ready bit literally! Rachel, Mark’s mum Helen and Rachel’s friends were ultra organised and the morning ticked along gently and they were ready in plenty not to be late for the church.
The whole day was just perfect and I think the pictures tell the story. A few emotional moments but lots of laughter. We hope you enjoy looking through this wedding as much as we enjoyed photographing it. Thanks for looking after us
