Nikki and Mark are hosting their Wedding at Rockliffe Hall on Friday and we are hoping for a fine day, which would make a good contrast to the weather on the day of their Pre Wedding Shoot. Nikki and Mark chose a lovely area close to Frosterley in Weardale for their pre wedding shoot. The area is famous for it’s quarries and it’s railway but Nikki & Mark chose it because they like to go there on a sunny day and walk their new puppy. We met up at a lovely little cafe called No 10 in Wolsingham for coffee and to catch up on their wedding plans.
The weather forecast had said that there was a possibility of showers so Nikki had brought along her umbrella just in case. At no point were we prepared for the downpour which followed for the next 2 hours, but they weren’t phased at all by the rain and the landscape looked very dramatic, not the shoot that we were all expecting but sometimes it is good to just run with what the day throws at you! A big thank you to Margaret, Nikki’s Mum for coming along to help. Watch out on the blog for their images from Rockliffe Hall.
